You don’t have to live on a ranch to embrace the cowboy boot trend in 2016. According to Vogue, when Valentino co–creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri wore the style on the runway at the end of the brand’s menswear show last week, it became clear that urban style stars are taking notice of Western footwear. And why not? The boots are versatile and stylish, and no, you don’t have to wear yours with a cowboy hat: Try pairing them with a maxi skirt for a free-spirited approach or with a black moto jacket for an edgy take. And with the winter season upon us, consider cowboy boots one more creative way to stay chic and protected in the cold.
